Cameron Gabel receives St. Francis Award for Exemplary Christian Living and Service

We are proud to announce that Cameron Gabel, an 8th-grade student, has been selected as the recipient of this year’s St. Francis Award, one of the highest honors given at our school. This award recognizes a student who consistently demonstrates the values of Christian living and selfless service to others—qualities beautifully embodied by Cameron throughout the school year.

Named in honor of St. Francis of Assisi, who lived a life of humility, compassion, and deep love for God and all creation, this award celebrates students who, like St. Francis, live out their faith not only in words, but in action. Cameron has shown a quiet strength and unwavering dedication to kindness, generosity, and spiritual maturity that has touched both peers and faculty.

Whether offering help without being asked, treating every person with dignity and respect, or showing a genuine concern for those in need, Cameron has led by example—serving others with a joyful heart and a humble spirit. Her everyday choices reflect a deep commitment to the Gospel values we strive to nurture in all our students.

Cameron’s character reminds us that true leadership begins with service, and that faith is most powerful when lived authentically. As she prepares to take the next step in her academic and spiritual journey, we are confident that Cameron will continue to be a light for others and a faithful witness to God’s love in the world.

Congratulations, Cameron, and thank you for being a shining example of what it means to live like Christ in today’s world.
