K-8 Computer Teacher
Overview
The School of Saint Mary, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking a computer teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.
The computer teacher is the primary instructor for all computer and technology classes for grades Kindergarten
through eighth grade throughout the course of the year, planning and implementing lessons in accordance with
the Diocesan standards in technology. The computer teacher maintains a productive learning environment in the
classroom and also fulfills essential duties throughout the day as assigned.
This role may also include administrative duties managing the devices throughout the school building,
troubleshooting problems that arise for teacher or student devices, utilizing the Technology budget to steward
these devices properly, tracking inventory, and developing policies for responsible use of these devices.
The computer teacher is a minister of the faith in a technological context and candidates must show the capacity
to demonstrate responsible and faithful use of technology as a means to further God’s kingdom. The computer
teacher must be willing to support the Mission of the School and model a love of Jesus and a commitment to
exemplifying the ideals of the Church.

-Maintain a safe computer environment and steward and maintain equipment in the computer lab
-Draft and submit lesson plans, maintain accurate records and communicate with parents

-Actively participate in professional development of the school and support the work of core content teachers
-Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
-Teaching Experience preferred
-Teaching certification in the state of Oklahoma or equivalent preferred

The School of Saint Mary is located in Midtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, on the same campus as the Church of Saint
Mary. The school was founded by the Felician Sisters in 1954 and has served the Catholic community of Tulsa
ever since. The school is fully accredited by the Oklahoma Conference of Catholic Schools Accrediting
Association, renewed June 2026. School of Saint Mary is a pre-K through eighth grade elementary school with
258 K-eighth students in the 2025-2026 academic year.
