K-8 Art Teacher
Overview
The School of Saint Mary, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking an art teacher for the 2026-2027 school
year. The art teacher is the primary instructor for all art classes for grades Kindergarten through eighth grade
throughout the course of the year, planning and implementing lessons in accordance with the Diocesan
standards in art. The art teacher maintains a productive learning environment in the classroom and also fulfills
essential duties throughout the day as assigned.
The art teacher is a minister of the faith in an art context and candidates must show the capacity to demonstrate
to students the likeness each share with God through the capacity to create. The art teacher must be willing to
support the Mission of the School and model a love of Jesus and a commitment to exemplifying the ideals of the
Church.

Key Responsibilities
-Teach art classes for Kindergarten through eighth grade
-Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment for learning
-Maintain a safe art environment and steward all art supplies and storage spaces
-Draft and submit lesson plans, maintain accurate records and communicate with parents
-Model professionalism and the Catholic faith
-Steward the art budget and utilize that resource to support programming and learning for students
-Actively participate in professional development of the school and support the work of core content teachers
-Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree or Higher
-Teaching Experience preferred
-Teaching certification in the state of Oklahoma or equivalent preferred
About the Employer
The School of Saint Mary is located in Midtown Tulsa, Oklahoma, on the same campus as the Church of Saint
Mary. The school was founded by the Felician Sisters in 1954 and has served the Catholic community of Tulsa
ever since. The school is fully accredited by the Oklahoma Conference of Catholic Schools Accrediting
Association, renewed June 2026. School of Saint Mary is a pre-K through eighth grade elementary school with
258 K-eighth students in the 2025-2026 academic year.

After School Care Aide

Job Responsibilities:
The After School Care program at the School of Saint Mary is seeking an ASC Aide. The position runs Monday through Friday 2:30-5:30pm, supervising and working with children ranging from 3-14 years of age. No prior experience is required–just a desire to work with children in a fun, nurturing environment.
