Guardian News: Eighth Grade produces first of a weekly news show

We know how talented our Eighth Graders are. They’re working hard together to build a weekly news show that is written, read, filmed, and edited in Mrs. Padalino’s afternoon computer class. The class chose Leah to be this episode’s Producer. She assigned Ellie, Cate, and Ainsley to write stories chosen from the week’s FYI. Eighth Grade visits Bishop Kelley High School

Eighth Grade students from our school visited Bishop Kelley High School today. Principal Jim Franz began the day with a discussion of the most important elements of high school: God, academics, clubs and sports, and student life. Jane Oberste led the group around the campus, introducing them to many of the teachers and showing off the classrooms. Students reunited for lunch with current BK students who attended the School of Saint Mary.  

Second Grade builds Model Churches with Eighth Grade Buddies

Mrs. Ann Bloomfield’s Second Grade class spent time building model churches with their buddies from Eighth Grade. Each second grader assembled a church using a shoebox, construction paper, and cardboard. Each church¬† contains a altar, an ambo, a tabernacle, and a priest celebrating Mass. Some students built baptismal fonts. ¬†
