Saint Mary alums come back to teach Theology classes

Bishop Kelley High School seniors Hallie Cole and Isabella Desbarres are back at the School of Saint Mary. They are teaching Theology class to Mrs. Bloomfield’s Second Graders in the first hour of the school day. Their work in the school is part of a class the girls are taking at Bishop Kelley and taught by parishioner Jane Bender. Second Grade builds Model Churches with Eighth Grade Buddies

Mrs. Ann Bloomfield’s Second Grade class spent time building model churches with their buddies from Eighth Grade. Each second grader assembled a church using a shoebox, construction paper, and cardboard. Each church¬† contains a altar, an ambo, a tabernacle, and a priest celebrating Mass. Some students built baptismal fonts. ¬†  

Mrs. Bloomfield’s Second Grade celebrates Catholic Schools Week

Mrs. Ann Bloomfield’s Second Grade class at the School of Saint Mary is known for its enthusiasm. During Catholic Schools Week, the young students put their enthusiasm to work.       The students assembled sweet care packages for people who come to the Saint Mary Food Pantry and to the downtown Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless.
