A few reminders: Kindergarten applications are now available for pick-up in the school office. There will be a Kindergarten Open House on Tuesday and Wednesday, January 14th and 15th from 10:00am – 11:00am.  Tours of the school are available at 9:30am on both of the Open House days. Parents: Thank you Mrs. McCormick! For many years Julia McCormick has lovingly cared for our students in the Health Room.  Rice bags, Band-Aids, cough drops, itch medicine and hugs are several of the “magic cures” she has given out.  Mrs. McCormick is retiring as of Dec. 20th.  She and her husband look forward to traveling to visit children and grandchildren.  Our prayers, love and best wishes go with them.  We are not filling her spot yet. Parents, Recess is a part of the scheduled day for all students.  Students will go outside for their scheduled recess unless it is determined to be too wet or the temperature, including wind chill, is below 32°F.  Therefore, please send your student with warm clothing, hats, scarves and gloves to school during the coming winter months. Reminders and Notes: Trunk or Treat has been moved to Monday, 10/28, from 6-8pm due to weather. Wear Red Free Dress is scheduled for next Tuesday, 10/29.   To promote drug prevention, students may wear free dress on Tuesday, 10/29, with as much red as they can manage.
